It was originally reported earlier on Monday that Daley Ojuederie had been apparently told off by Big Brother bosses after slapping Hazel on the backside.
But he has now been given his chance to state his side after speaking to host Emma Willis on Big Brother's Bit On The Side on Tuesday evening.
The 28-year-old seemed remorseful as he told Emma: 'First of all I just want to say I came across offensive to any woman then I'm sorry because I'm not malicious and I would never ever do anything to a woman or disrespect a woman In that way. Things got out of hand and I take full responsibility and I shouldn't have took it to that level.
'I deeply regret it and as I said, if I've offended any woman out there then I'm sorry.'
He then went on to explain how the scenario occurred, revealing: 'I was hungry all day I had little to eat, I'm a lightweight 'cause I'm an athlete so, I don't really drink. But in there, in the beginning I never really drank that much but I felt like I wasn't with the group if I wasn't drinking with them and it became an everyday thing.
'And then that incident that night, I had four glasses of alcohol and then two glasses of champagne, I was really tired that night and just wanted to go to sleep. Then it escalated from there, it was all a play fight, I would never ever wanna do something to a woman never, ever.

But he refused to comment on Hazel's part in the incident and his ultimate downfall: 'I don't think its right to comment, I want people to make their mind up about her and judge what they see, then if I'm in the wrong I'm sorry.'
Although there seems to be one small silver lining from his removal from the house as his girlfriend Katie was there on the night to support him, despite a few days ago breaking down and saying she needed to leave the country because she was so devastated about his flirting with Hazel in the house.
Daley insisted he is sorry for his actions but hasn't begged for her back because he feels he doesn't deserve her after putting her through so much pain.
