In addition, a large number of people use digital services and shop online as our lives grow more interconnected. Therefore, a digital form of fiat money is required, one that satisfies customer demand for quick and simple transactions. That's CBDC.  Dr. Ralf Wintergerst , Chairman of the Management Board and Group CEO of Giesecke+Devrient and chair of the North Africa Middle East Initiative of German Business (NMI), said in an exclusive interview with Local news media that an increasing number of states are looking into the implementation of ...

The Wolverine 2013 Full Movie | Reviews (Film)

The Wolverine 2013 Full Movie and Reviews , Jackman and director James Mangold (Knight and Day; Girl, Interrupted) have teamed up to bring out the claws once again in The Wolverine . And while it's definitely a more entertaining and far deeper film than the last Wolverine outing, it still falls short of the top tier of Marvel tentpoles like the fizzy Iron Man and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man. MOVIE REVIEWS Wolverine movie review The Wolverine is an existential story about our razor-taloned hero grappling with the burden of immortality and loss. the film opens with a harrowing sequence set, like most of the film , in Japan. It's WWII, and Jackman's Logan is imprisoned in a Japanese POW camp in Nagasaki as B-29s fly overhead to deliver the atomic bomb. During the blast he saves one of his captors, a soldier named Yashida, who, during the explosion, learns of Wolverine's invincibility and ability to heal his own wounds. 2013 Movie Trailer Decades l...

Only God Forgives Movie trailer and Reviews

Only God Forgives Trailer and review - Mom Is a Drug Lord, and Gore Is a Narcotic. In ‘ Only God Forgives ,’ a Mother Is Bent on Revenge. The closest thing to a human character in Nicolas Winding Refn’s blood-drenched, nihilistic reverie “ Only God Forgives ” is Crystal (Kristin Scott Thomas), a foul-mouthed, platinum-haired gorgon who flies to Bangkok from the United States to avenge the murder of Billy (Tom Burke), the elder of her two sons. That Billy came to a bloody end after savagely raping and murdering a 16-year-old prostitute doesn’t seem to bother Crystal, who runs an international drug smuggling enterprise. “I’m sure he had his reasons,” she says airily. Trailer & Reviews   Crystal’s mission is to persuade her younger son, Julian (Ryan Gosling), who ran a kickboxing gym with Billy, to find the killer and bring his head to her on a platter. She assures Julian that this is what Billy would have done had Julian been the victim.  Ms. Scot...

The Conjuring Movie Trailer: The classic ghost of Based on a True Story

The Conjuring Movie Review - The Conjuring  is a fairly standard-issue Hollywood horror possession film. There's a dog that does the usual thing dogs do in horror films . There's a doll that does what dolls usually do in horror films . There's some eerie TV static, some doors banging, some ghost hunters with motion detectors and UV lights, and some creepy ghosts who appear on cue when you expect to least expect them, complete with ominous music and the spooky makeup that all ghosts wear so you can identify them. And there's an eerie whispered catch phrase, because the supernatural loves memes. There's only one difference between this film and all those other films.  This one is real !! ( True Story Movie ) When I say it's real ,  I mean several things. First, and most obviously, the film is based to some degree on real events. It tells the story of the Perron family, who moved into a supposedly haunted farmhouse in Rhode Island in 1971. The Pe...

Whose Line Is It Anyway? is Coming Back | It’s really surprising

Whose Line Is It Anyway? returns ! -  If you're anything like us, you've been a fan of " Whose Line Is It Anyway ?" since the British episodes started airing on Comedy Central in the early 1990s. And you are also extremely happy to have these funny folks back on your TV.  New Whose Line  Whose Line Is It Anyway The premiere episode featured a couple new improvers, Gary Anthony Williams and Heather Anne Campbell, plus some special guests -- "Walking Dead's" Lauren Cohan and "Glee's" Kevin McHale.  Favorite games were played -- Scenes From a Hat, Let's Make a Date, Living Scenery -- plus there were new games, like What's In the Bag and Sideways Scene. The Sideways Scene was particularly a lot of fun, as the improves laid on their sides and performed on a red set, which was then shown right-way up on TV. Trust us, it's a lot cooler than it sounds here. What did you think about Aisha Tyler as the new host? She see...

Sharknado Movie: Sharknado is the latest in a string of Mockbuster

Watch out! Sharknado is heading this way. Foxtel's Universal Channel has confirmed it will screen early next month the mockbuster  horror film about a storm of white pointer sharks literally raining havoc on America. Despite Sharknado being shot for an estimated budget of about $1 million the absurd made-for-TV movie - with laughable special effects and actors who seem a second away from either cracking up laughing or just walking off in confusion - has become one of the most talked-about films of the year since it screened on America's SyFy Channel on July 11. This has been one of the most talked about films in a long time and we are excited to be able to bring it to Australian audiences," a Universal spokesperson said :  Thunder Levin @ThunderLevin "If it's true that Cory Monteith's last tweet was about #sharknado , that's about the saddest thing I've ever heard.  :-(  Rest in peace, man." We'll be airing it as part of our ...

Pacific Rim Movie Review: Imaginative film but acting looks bad

Pacific Rim Review -  What’s this? A summer blockbuster that isn’t a sequel or a remake? Surely, you can’t be serious. And serious Pacific Rim movie is not. It may not be anywhere near one of the top films this year, but it certainly is one of the most eccentric and imaginative films of the summer. Part love letter to the genre of Japanese Kaiju monster films spawned in the wake of “Godzilla,” part raucous war-time flyboy film, Guillermo del Toro’s biggest movie to date is, at its core, quintessential del Toro beneath layers of megatons of screeching metallic gusto. Here the some reviews : A fantastic prologue puts the audience into the mix immediately, showing how a rift in the bottom of the Pacific created a wormhole into another dimension where an army of monsters called Kaiju emerged and attacked our major cities. To fight the monsters , giant robots known as Jaegers were created, which humans would pilot from inside by using a device similar to an eliptic...

Review: Grown Ups 2 vs Pacific Rim vs Despicable Me 2

It doesn’t matter which film tops the box office this weekend.  It doesn’t matter if Despicable Me 2 , Pacific Rim , or Grown Ups 2 ends up “number one” on Sunday morning.  When it comes to box office, rank is a patently irrelevant statistic.   Pacific Rim is going to gross what it’s going to gross.  It may in fact do the $30 million that tracking has estimated.  It may surge higher than “expected” and hit $40 million, $50 million, or beyond.  Grown Ups 2 is probably going to do around $35-$45 million, or about on par with the first film’s $40 million gross.  Neither of these films may have the numbers to topple Despicable Me 2 , which could fall 50% and still end up at $41 million for the weekend.  But none of these films are competing against each other.  They are all competing against only themselves. Box office is not poker.  It’s not about new releases and holdovers attempting to make more money than the other movies in th...

Movie Review: PACIFIC RIM | kaiju | robots | monsters

MOVIE REVIEW OF THE WEEK : Pacific Rim , You like monsters , right? We're talking mega- monsters that don't mess about none. Godzilla-ish beasts from an alternate dimension that are here to wreck the planet, and to heck with the consequences. The slimy, scaly, scary monsters of Pacific Rim can crunch entire continents for fun, and will munch on all mankind for short-term sustenance. What about robots ? You dig on them, too? Wait until you get a load of the 'bots of Pacific Rim . They are all-terrain automatons the size of skyscrapers, and are weaponised with all the latest death-rays and stuff. One last question. Are you into monsters fighting with robots ? Well, Pacific Rim isn't shy about laying on an all-you-eat buffet of creature-versus-machine smack-downs. Get set to gorge yourself. Or go get a ticket to something else. Still keen? Just keep the following in mind. There are no stars in the cast. No characters remotely worth caring about. No stor...
